Welcome to Carztohire ("Carztohire," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Carztohire website, mobile website, customer support services, and any related online services we provide (collectively, the "Services").

Carztohire is an online platform that enables customers to search, compare, and reserve rental vehicles offered by independent rental companies and service providers. Unless otherwise expressly stated, Carztohire does not own, operate, or maintain the vehicles available through our platform.

By accessing our website, requesting a quote, creating an account, making a reservation, or using any of our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not access or use our Services.

For purposes of these Terms:

• "Carztohire," "Company," "we," "our," or "us" refers to Carztohire and its affiliates.
• "Website" means the Carztohire website and any associated online platforms.
• "Customer," "User," "Renter," "you," or "your" refers to any person using our Services.
• "Rental Provider" means the independent vehicle rental company supplying the vehicle.
• "Reservation" means a request to rent a vehicle through our platform.
• "Rental Agreement" means the agreement entered into between you and the Rental Provider when you collect the vehicle.
• "Vehicle" means any automobile offered for rental through our Services.

By using our Services, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age, or the minimum legal age required to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
• You have the legal authority to enter into these Terms.
• All information you provide is complete, accurate, and current.
• You will use our Services only for lawful purposes.
• You will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.

If you are making a reservation on behalf of another individual, you represent that you have the authority to act on their behalf and to accept these Terms for them.

Carztohire may revise these Terms at any time without prior notice to reflect changes in our business operations, legal requirements, or Services. The most current version will always be available on our website. Your continued use of our Services after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

To make a reservation through Carztohire, you must:

• Meet the minimum rental age required by the applicable Rental Provider.
• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Meet any insurance or payment requirements imposed by the Rental Provider.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into contracts.
• Provide accurate personal and payment information.

Meeting these requirements does not guarantee that a Rental Provider will approve your reservation.

Carztohire operates as an online reservation and booking platform. Our Services include searching available rental vehicles, comparing vehicle categories and pricing, facilitating reservations, processing reservation requests, providing customer support related to bookings, and communicating reservation updates. The actual rental transaction is completed between you and the applicable Rental Provider.

Each Rental Provider maintains its own policies regarding driver eligibility, deposits, insurance, fuel policies, mileage limits, additional drivers, vehicle availability, damage responsibility, late returns, and geographic restrictions. Those policies become part of your Rental Agreement at the time of vehicle pickup.

Submitting a reservation request through Carztohire does not guarantee vehicle availability. Your reservation becomes confirmed only after availability has been verified, payment (where applicable) has been successfully processed, and confirmation has been issued by Carztohire or the Rental Provider. Until confirmation is issued, prices, availability, and vehicle categories remain subject to change.

Carztohire makes reasonable efforts to display accurate vehicle availability. However, availability changes frequently, vehicle inventory is managed by Rental Providers, and specific makes, models, colors, or features cannot always be guaranteed. Reservations are generally made for a vehicle category rather than a specific make or model. If your selected vehicle becomes unavailable, the Rental Provider may provide a comparable vehicle, offer an upgraded vehicle when available, offer an alternative vehicle category, or cancel the reservation if no suitable replacement exists.

Vehicle rental prices displayed on our website are based on information provided by Rental Providers. Displayed prices may include base rental charges, applicable taxes, and mandatory booking fees (where disclosed). Prices may not include:

• Fuel charges
• Security deposits
• Toll charges
• Parking fees
• Traffic violations
• Additional driver fees
• Young driver surcharges
• Child safety seats
• GPS devices
• Optional insurance products
• Roadside assistance upgrades
• Airport concession fees
• One-way rental fees

Additional charges imposed by the Rental Provider will be disclosed where available and may be payable directly at the rental location.

Unless otherwise stated, full or partial payment may be required when making your reservation. By submitting payment information, you authorize Carztohire or its designated payment processor to charge your selected payment method for rental charges, applicable taxes, booking fees, service fees, authorized adjustments, and additional charges disclosed before purchase. Payments may be processed through secure third-party payment providers. If payment authorization fails, your reservation may be cancelled without notice.

Rental prices may include taxes required by federal, state, or local authorities. Depending on the rental location, additional governmental fees may apply, including airport concession recovery fees, tourism assessments, environmental fees, vehicle licensing fees, and local transportation taxes. These charges are established by governmental authorities or Rental Providers and are subject to change without notice.

Once your reservation is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation by email containing available reservation details. It is your responsibility to carefully review the confirmation for accuracy. If any information is incorrect, please contact Carztohire promptly. Failure to report errors before the rental date may affect your reservation.

When using our Services, you agree to:

• Provide truthful information.
• Maintain accurate contact details.
• Safeguard your reservation information.
• Review all reservation details before confirming.
• Arrive at the pickup location on time.
• Bring all required identification and payment methods.
• Comply with the Rental Provider's rental agreement.
• Follow all applicable traffic laws and regulations.

Each Rental Provider establishes its own driver eligibility criteria. Generally, renters may be required to present a valid driver's license, a government-issued photo ID, a major credit or debit card, proof of insurance where required, and additional identification requested by the Rental Provider. International renters may also be required to present a valid passport, an International Driving Permit (where required), and additional documentation required by local law. Failure to provide required documentation may result in denial of the rental without refund, subject to the applicable cancellation policy.

Every reservation is subject to the Rental Provider's individual terms and conditions. These policies may address minimum and maximum rental age, driver qualifications, security deposits, fuel requirements, mileage limitations, insurance coverage, vehicle inspections, smoking restrictions, pet policies, cross-border travel, late returns, vehicle damage, and cleaning fees. Customers are responsible for reviewing and complying with these policies before collecting the vehicle.

Although Carztohire strives to provide accurate and current information, we cannot guarantee that all descriptions, pricing, photographs, specifications, or availability displayed on our website are free from errors. We reserve the right to correct pricing inaccuracies, technical errors, typographical mistakes, availability discrepancies, vehicle descriptions, and promotional offers. Corrections may occur before or after a reservation request is submitted. Where appropriate, customers will be notified and given the opportunity to accept revised terms or cancel the reservation.

To collect your rental vehicle, you must arrive at the designated rental location on the scheduled date and time shown in your reservation confirmation. At the time of pick-up, you may be required to present a valid driver's license, a government-issued photo identification document, the credit or debit card used to make the reservation (if required by the Rental Provider), your reservation confirmation, proof of insurance where applicable, and any additional documentation requested by the Rental Provider. Failure to present the required documentation may result in the Rental Provider refusing to release the vehicle. In such cases, Carztohire is not responsible for any resulting cancellation charges or additional costs.

You agree to return the vehicle on or before the agreed return date and time, to the agreed return location, in substantially the same condition in which it was received (subject to normal wear and tear), and with all keys, accessories, and equipment supplied at pick-up. Additional charges may apply for late returns, returning the vehicle to a different location without authorization, excessive cleaning, missing equipment, fuel shortages, and damage discovered after inspection. The Rental Provider's return inspection will determine whether additional charges apply.

Late returns

Returning a vehicle after the scheduled return time may result in additional fees imposed by the Rental Provider. Depending on the provider's policies, late returns may include additional hourly or daily rental charges, administrative fees, loss-of-use charges, reservation extension fees, and reduced availability for other customers. Extensions are not guaranteed and remain subject to vehicle availability.

No-show policy

A reservation may be considered a "No-Show" if you fail to arrive at the pick-up location within the Rental Provider's permitted grace period, fail to provide the required documentation, fail to satisfy driver eligibility requirements, or decline the Rental Provider's rental agreement after arriving. Depending on the applicable cancellation policy, No-Show reservations may be non-refundable.

Reservation modifications

If you need to modify your reservation, please contact Carztohire before your scheduled rental date. Changes are subject to vehicle availability, updated pricing, Rental Provider approval, and applicable modification fees. Carztohire cannot guarantee that requested changes will be accommodated.

Reservation cancellations

Cancellation policies vary depending on the Rental Provider and the specific reservation. Applicable cancellation fees, processing fees, or non-refundable charges will be disclosed during the booking process or in your reservation confirmation. Refund eligibility depends on the Rental Provider's cancellation policy, the timing of the cancellation, promotional or prepaid rates, and applicable local laws. If a reservation is designated as non-refundable, cancellation may result in the forfeiture of all amounts paid.

Where a refund is approved, processing times may vary depending on your payment method, your financial institution, the payment processor, and the Rental Provider. Carztohire cannot control the time required for your bank or card issuer to process refunded amounts. Service fees or booking fees may be non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Only drivers authorized under the Rental Provider's rental agreement may operate the vehicle. Additional drivers may be required to meet the same eligibility requirements as the primary renter, present a valid driver's license, be listed on the rental agreement, and pay any applicable additional driver fees. The primary renter remains responsible for the actions of all authorized drivers. Unauthorized drivers may void insurance coverage and result in additional charges or termination of the rental agreement.

Many Rental Providers require a refundable security deposit before releasing the vehicle. Deposit requirements vary based on vehicle category, rental location, rental duration, insurance selection, and payment method. Security deposits are held by the Rental Provider and released according to their policies following the return and inspection of the vehicle. Carztohire does not determine deposit amounts or release schedules.

Insurance requirements and optional protection products are determined by the Rental Provider. Available coverage may include:

• Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
• Loss Damage Waiver (LDW)
• Supplemental Liability Insurance
• Personal Accident Insurance
• Personal Effects Coverage
• Roadside Assistance Protection

Coverage options, exclusions, deductibles, and limitations vary by provider and location. Customers are responsible for reviewing all insurance terms before accepting or declining coverage.

During the rental period, you agree to exercise reasonable care while operating and safeguarding the vehicle. You are responsible for securing the vehicle when unattended, following all applicable traffic laws, preventing unauthorized use, using the correct type of fuel, monitoring dashboard warning indicators, reporting mechanical issues promptly, and returning the vehicle in a reasonably clean condition.

Unless expressly authorized by the Rental Provider, rented vehicles must not be used for any unlawful purpose, by unauthorized drivers, while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, in racing or competitive events, to transport hazardous or illegal goods, for towing or pushing another vehicle, off paved public roads where prohibited, for driver training, or to carry passengers for hire unless specifically authorized. Violation of these restrictions may result in termination of the rental agreement and additional financial liability.

Certain Rental Providers may restrict where rented vehicles may be driven — interstate travel limitations, cross-border restrictions, prohibited international travel, geographic mileage limits, or restricted roads. Fuel policies typically include Full-to-Full, Prepaid Fuel, or Same-to-Same. Mileage allowances may be unlimited, daily-limited, or total-mileage-capped. Customers are responsible for confirming permitted travel areas, fuel policy, and mileage terms before beginning their trip. Unauthorized travel outside approved areas may void insurance coverage and result in additional fees.

The renter is solely responsible for toll charges, parking fees, traffic citations, speeding tickets, red-light camera violations, and administrative processing fees assessed by the Rental Provider. If the Rental Provider receives notices after the rental period, they may charge the associated amounts, including administrative fees, to the payment method authorized under the rental agreement.

If the rented vehicle is involved in an accident, theft, vandalism, or other damage, you must notify the Rental Provider immediately, contact local law enforcement where legally required, cooperate fully during any investigation, complete any required incident reports, and provide accurate information regarding the event. If you experience a mechanical issue during the rental period, stop operating the vehicle if continued use could cause additional damage, contact the Rental Provider immediately, and do not authorize repairs without the Rental Provider's prior approval unless required for emergency safety reasons.

Carztohire shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, cancellations, or failures to perform resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, floods, earthquakes, wildfires, government actions, labor disputes, civil unrest, public health emergencies, power outages, internet or telecommunications failures, acts of terrorism, or transportation disruptions. In such circumstances, Carztohire will make reasonable efforts to assist customers; however, we cannot guarantee alternative arrangements or compensation unless required by applicable law.

You agree to use the Carztohire website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not use the website in violation of any applicable law, submit false or misleading reservation requests, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, upload viruses or malicious code, interfere with the operation or security of the website, scrape or extract website content using automated tools without our prior written permission, use the website to engage in fraudulent activities, impersonate another person or organization, or attempt to reverse engineer or modify any part of the website or its underlying software. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our Services if we believe these Terms have been violated.

If you create an account with Carztohire, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, restricting access to your account, ensuring that all information associated with your account remains accurate and up to date, and promptly notifying us of any unauthorized use of your account or suspected security breach. You are responsible for all activities conducted through your account unless prohibited by applicable law. Carztohire reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are used fraudulently, unlawfully, or in violation of these Terms.

All content available on the Carztohire website — including text, images, graphics, logos, icons, videos, audio, software, website design, layout, databases, trademarks, and service marks — is owned by or licensed to Carztohire and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted by law, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, republish, distribute, display, sell, license, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any portion of our website without our prior written consent.

Our website may allow customers to submit reviews, ratings, comments, or other content. By submitting content to Carztohire, you represent that you own the content or have the necessary rights to share it, the content is truthful and accurate to the best of your knowledge, the content does not violate the rights of any third party, and the content complies with applicable laws. You grant Carztohire a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, publish, modify, distribute, display, and otherwise use the content for business purposes, including marketing and promotional activities.

You may not submit content that is false or misleading; defamatory, abusive, or harassing; contains hate speech or discriminatory language; promotes unlawful conduct; contains obscene or offensive material; infringes intellectual property rights; violates another person's privacy; contains malicious software; advertises unrelated products without authorization; or violates any applicable law. Carztohire reserves the right to remove or refuse to publish any content that violates these Terms.

Carztohire respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that copyrighted material has been posted on our website without authorization, please contact us with a description of the copyrighted work, the location of the allegedly infringing material, your contact information, a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the information provided is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services provided solely for your convenience. Carztohire does not own, control, or endorse these external websites and is not responsible for their content, privacy practices, security, availability, products, or services. Vehicles available through our platform are supplied by independent Rental Providers. Carztohire is not responsible for vehicle condition, maintenance, safety inspections, Rental Provider policies, customer service provided by Rental Providers, vehicle availability, substitutions, delays, mechanical failures, or acts or omissions of Rental Providers. Your rental relationship is governed by the Rental Agreement you enter into directly with the applicable Rental Provider at the time of vehicle collection.

While we strive to keep our website available at all times, uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed. We may temporarily suspend or limit access for system maintenance, security updates, technical failures, server upgrades, network interruptions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Carztohire shall not be liable for temporary interruptions or unavailability of the website.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Carztohire website and Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Carztohire makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding website availability, accuracy of information, completeness of content, reliability, security, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the website will operate without interruption, that errors will be corrected immediately, that the website will always be free of viruses, or that information displayed by third parties will always be accurate. Customers use our Services at their own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Carztohire, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to use of the website, inability to use the website, reservation cancellations, vehicle unavailability, Rental Provider actions or omissions, delayed reservations, lost profits, lost business opportunities, data loss, travel disruptions, or personal inconvenience. Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Carztohire for the reservation giving rise to the claim.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Carztohire, its affiliates, employees, officers, directors, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of our Services, your breach of these Terms, your violation of applicable law, your negligence or misconduct, any inaccurate information you provide, or any dispute between you and a Rental Provider.

These Terms and any disputes arising out of or relating to your use of the Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of law principles. If you have a concern regarding your reservation or our Services, we encourage you to contact Carztohire first so we may attempt to resolve the issue informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved through good-faith discussions, it shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law through the courts or other dispute resolution procedures available in the State of Tennessee, unless another method is required by law or agreed to by the parties.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you and Carztohire agree that any legal claim or proceeding arising out of these Terms or the use of our Services will be brought only on an individual basis. Neither party shall participate in a class action, consolidated action, representative action, or similar proceeding unless such waiver is prohibited by applicable law.

Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which describe how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information. By providing your email address or telephone number, you consent to receive electronic communications from Carztohire relating to your reservations, customer service requests, account information, and other important notices. Where required by law, we will obtain your consent before sending marketing communications, and you may opt out of such communications at any time.

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce that provision or any other provision in the future. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, reservation confirmation, and any applicable Rental Provider terms incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and Carztohire regarding your use of our Services and supersede any prior understandings or agreements relating to the same subject matter.
